Gmail

  • Google updated Gmail with the ability to customize what happens when you swipe right or left on an email.

  • You can customize the swipe actions within the app’s settings.

  • The feature should be available in the latest version.

Up until now, the only swipe action you could take on emails from the conversation list was archive. That finally changes today as Gmail now lets you customize what happens when you swipe left or right on an email, reported Android Police.

Once you open the app and go to Settings, you then press General settings. From there, you will notice that the ‘Swipe actions’ checkbox was replaced with a ‘Swipe actions’ menu that opens a separate page.
