The 2017 Thinkpad X270 now offers a touch screen option and delivers up to 20 hours of battery life thanks to a dual battery configuration.

Unlike other 12-inch notebooks like the MacBook, the new Lenovo Thinkpad X270 delivers all the ports you need in a small form factor with a 12-inch display.


Lenovo describes this updated 12-inch Windows 10 notebook as, “Designed for serious business mobility with a complete set of ports and connectivity.”

Buyers can now opt for Microsoft Signature Image, which loads a clean image of Window 10 with no bloatware for added speed and  reliability.

Lenovo also includes the new Microsoft Precision TouchPad standard that promises a better touchpad experience.

Although there are a full complement of ports, the notebook uses USB C for power, display and data transfer. The 2017 ThinkPad X270 includes, USB-C “Anti-Fry” Protection. This means each notebook includes, “a circuit to guard against badly designed or malfunctioning non-Lenovo USB-C power supplies.”
